(not necessary to install all of them, up to your preference)
za) SBSettings (This is for advanced users, to do on-the-
fly system changes, not recommend for
normal users)
zb) Winterboard (This is for adding in themes for iPhone,
its something like the Windows theme in
Microsoft Windows)
zc) MobileTerminal Changes root and mobile password
To change root and mobile password.
------------------------------------
Reason: To protect the files in iOS so that nobody can access your
folders easily over WiFi and 3G internet connection.
Cause: After Jailbreaking, you actually open up (or techincally call
"root") your phone so in terms of USB connection, you can
access all the folders. But the issue is due to the nature of
Jailbreak, it is also open up through a WiFi/3G connection.
Although not as easy as USB access, it is protected by a
password.
But, the password is a default password which EVERYBODY
in the Jailbreak will know. Its "Alpine".
Steps:
1) Run MobileTerminal
2) type "su root"
3) type return
4) when prompt on the screen on top
key in "alpine"
5) type return
6) type "passwd"
7) type return
8) type in your password
9) re-type in your password
10) type "passwd mobile"
11) repeat steps 7 to 9
12) Exit MobileTerminal by pressing home
13) That's it.
